It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Leo Maurice Ouellette, our husband, father, and grandfather, who went to meet Christ, his Saviour on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the age of 72 years. Leo will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Claudette Ouellette of Eckville; his sons, Shayne Ouellette and Yves Ouellette, both of Cochrane; his daughter, Christina Ouellette of Edmonton; and his eight grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers, Noel Ouellette of Onoway, Robert Ouellette of Kananaskis and Jacques Ouellette of Edmonton; his sisters, Annette Rondeau and Rose Liboiron, both of Bonnyville, and Vicky Lindsay of Edmonton. Leo was predeceased by and will be lovingly greeted by his mother and father, his brother, Joffre Ouellette and his brother, Pierre Ouellette. Leo loved rock music. In his memory, he personally requested that you listen to the song “Angel of Light” by Iron Fire. The family will have a Private Celebration of Life at a later date.
