With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ken Lawrence of Blackfalds, Alberta, a loving husband, father, brother, Papa, uncle and friend. Ken was a humble and gentle man who enjoyed travelling, playing Sudoku, winning pool tournaments, guitar jamming and dancing. His quick wit, infectious laugh and sense of humor will be deeply missed by his wife, Debbie Lawrence, daughters; Jen (Arlo), Trisha (Jason), Julie, Kristy (Curtis), grandchildren; Kendra, Nate, Devony, Talia, Drake, Serenity, Grace, Avalynn, siblings; Shirley (Bill), Don (Sally), Lucille (Dick), Karen, Charlene (Gerry) along with his many nieces, nephews and close friends. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Dorothy, sister-in-law, Pat Nielsen, stepson Jeff Lightbown. He leaves behind a legacy of loving kindness in everyone who had the privilege of getting to know him. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 17 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at CrossRoads Church, Southwest corner of 32 street and Highway #2, 38105, Range Road 275, Red Deer County, Alberta.
