Mrs. Penny Ann Latimer of Springbrook, Alberta passed away peacefully, at the Innisfail Health Centre, on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the age of 71 years. Penny was born on August 9, 1950 in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. Penny lived in Calgary in her early years, and spent her last fifty years in the Red Deer area. She met David Latimer in 1970 and they have been together for fifty-two years. Her working career was cut short fifteen years ago when she became ill. Penny will be lovingly remembered by her husband, David; her children, Raymond (Tasha), Christopher (Jodi), Bryan, Teddi-Lynn (Noel) Authenac and Deanne. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family members and dear friends. Penny was predeceased by a son, Michael in 2012 and a daughter, Marie Goruk in 2022. A Celebration of Penny’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Penny’s honor may be made directly to the MS Society Of Canada at www.mssociety.ca.
