Mr. James ‘Jim’ William John Buggie, Jr. passed away peacefully on his seventy-third birthday, at home, sitting in his favorite chair, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the age of 73 years. He was born at Renous, New Brunswick, son of the late James and Ruby Buggie. Jim grew up in a large family of four brothers and five sisters. He was the proud owner of A-1 Bobcat Service in Red Deer for thirty years. When he was not working, you would find him cleaning his trucks, or holding and loving his fur baby, Max. Jim enjoyed many winters in Arizona. He shared lots of good memories with all his wonderful snowbird friends. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife of forty-eight years, Donna, his son, Doug (Colleen) of Lethbridge, Alberta, his daughter, Cindy (Glen) of Fredericton, New Brunswick, his four grandchildren, Mitchell, Kate, Tyler, and Nathan, and his two great grandchildren, Everly and Salem Scott-MacDonald. Being humble by nature, it was Jim’s wish for family and friends to honor him in their own special way. A Funeral Service will not be held. If desired, Memorial Donations in Jim’s honor may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta and NWT at www.heartandstroke.ca or to Diabetes Canada at www.diabetes.ca. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com
