David Wall passed away leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, and love. Born on July 19, 1949, in Mexico, David was the third of nine children born to Henry and Maria Wall.

David lived life with enthusiasm and enjoyed many passions. An avid golfer, he could often be found on the golf course, where he was as well known for his flamboyant golf attire as he was for his love of the game. He was also a devoted fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Edmonton Oilers, faithfully cheering on his favorite teams through every season.

For the past 36 years, David shared his life with his beloved spouse, Mary Taylor. Together they made their home in Bergen Springs Estates, where they enjoyed the community and lifestyle they had built together.

Throughout his working life, David embraced many careers. He worked as a welder, owned rental real estate, was a water softener sales representative, owned and operated an HVAC ventilation cleaning business, and in his later years enjoyed working as a Player’s Assistant at the Sundre Golf Course, where he combined his love of golf with his friendly and outgoing nature.

Beyond his work and hobbies, David’s greatest joy was his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and took great pride in watching them participate in sports. His nieces and nephews also held a special place in his heart, and he treasured the time he spent with them. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going camping, embracing every opportunity for adventure and the outdoors.

David will be lovingly remembered by his son, Calvin (Laurie Lynn), and their children, Vinton and Taryn; his daughter, Nikki (Justin), and their children, Moss and JC; and his beloved spouse, Mary Taylor, along with her daughter, Angela, and grandchildren, Morgan and Annika.

He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Maria Wall; his sister, Lisa and her spouse, Barry Ward; and his sister-in-law, Connie (Jake) Wall.

David’s warmth, sense of humor, unmistakable style, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and in the memories that will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the Bergen Community Hall, 31547 Range Road 53C, Mountain View County, Alberta, at 3:00 p.m. Followed by a Celebration of David’s Life at the Bergen Springs Estates Community Center, #57A – 5227 Township Road 320 Mountain View County, Alberta, from 5:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m.
