It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Blake Bourke of Red Deer, Alberta at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, October 9, 2023 at the age of 74 years. Blake was born to Roy ‘Pat’ and Ina Bourke on March 23, 1949, at the Red Deer Hospital. Blake spent his childhood playing baseball and hockey in Parkvale and Eastview. He continued a lifelong interest in sports. As an adult, Blake enjoyed golfing with friends and family. Blake spent his working years with Haliburton, McInnis Chemicals, Border Paving, M&K Homes, and in Sales with Terroco and X-Site Energy Services. The family would like to say a special thanks to the paramedics, and the staff in Emergency, Unit 22, and ICU. Blake will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Adell, his daughter, Christina (Jason) McGonigal, his grandchildren, Sean, Megan and Emma, and his brother, Bill. Blake was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Bob. At Blake’s request, no formal Funeral Service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
