Peacefully with her family by her side, surrounded by love, April 30th, 2021 in her 71st year, Alice Ashe formerly of Birch Grove, Cape Breton. passed away at her home in Bowden, Alberta where she resided for the last 18 years. Dear Mother of Jason (Kyra), Danielle (Gerald) and loving grandmother to Danial (Kimberly) and William and great grandmother to Flynn. Dear sister to Kathleen, Raymond (Cathy), Frank (Brenda), Juanita (Bill), and Lloyd (Diane). Alice is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Violet Ashe, her sister, Gloria (Ray), and her brother-in-law Darwin. Alice spent many years looking after her Mother before moving to Alberta where she spent the happiest years of her life. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She had a passion for knitting and crocheting and shared her passion with many. She spent many happy hours camping and fishing with her family whom she loved with all her heart. Special thanks to her son-in-law Gerald, for all his kindness and love towards Alice. Due to Covid restrictions, a private ceremony will take place at a later date.
