It is with great sorrow that the family announces that Carolyn passed at home, surrounded by loved ones, on May 30, 2026 in Olds, AB after a short battle with cancer. Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Minnie, grandson Colin and brother, Rowland.

She will be missed by her loving husband, Charles L., children Charles N. and Craig (Julie), grandsons Michael (Denise), Benjamin, James, Nathan and extended family.

Carolyn will forever be remembered as the heart of our family. She loved the adventure of living, loving and being loved. She will be forever in our hearts.

The family expresses their gratitude to the staff at Olds Community Hospital, the Olds Homecare team and especially Dr. Lanni and staff.

A small celebration for close friends and family will be held at a later date. Donations in Carolyn’s honour may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada or the Ronald McDonald House.
