Ms. Barbara Anne “Barb” Danser (née Marryat) passed away at home on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the age of 78 years. Barbara was born in Lacombe, Alberta and spent her early years raised on a farm in Alix, Alberta. She later moved to Red Deer, Alberta where she completed her high school education and began the next chapter of her life. Barbara found value in her work as a bookkeeper contracted to many local businesses. She loved sports especially curling, golf and volleyball, and enjoyed her time volunteering with the Central Alberta Family Services (C.A.F.S).

Barbara is lovingly remembered by her sons, Brent (Karla) Danser of Lacombe, and Byron (Lorilee) Danser of Rimbey; her seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She is survived by her brother, Robert (Ann); and sisters, Dorothy Burke, Margaret Bradly, and Phyllis (Dave) Fox.

There will be no Funeral Service held as per Barb’s request. If desired, Memorial Donations in honour of Barb may be sent to the Central Alberta Theatre at https://centralalbertatheatre.ca/.
