Mr. Henry Ernest Joseph Leduc of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at his home on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the age of 77 years. Henry was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan on February 26, 1947. He was an avid hockey player in his younger years. Following his retirement from Shell Canada at the age of fifty-five, Henry took on a seasonal role at Wilderness Village in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, until he was seventy-five. Henry married Arlene on October 18, 1991, in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. With a passion for woodworking, Henry especially enjoyed using his scroll saw. He made many woodwork projects for his family and friends. Henry’s love for hockey did not waver as he supported the Edmonton Oilers, proudly wearing their colors, orange and blue. Henry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Arlene Leduc, his sons, Greg (Jodi) of Rocky Mountain House and Dwayne of Fort St. John, British Columbia, his daughters, Gailen (Paul) of Rocky Mountain House, Leona (Tyler) of Taylor, British Columbia and Laurie (Trevor) of Grande Prairie, Alberta, his eleven grandchildren and his five great grandchildren. Henry will also be sadly missed by his brothers, Wilf (Marg) of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Rod (Anna) of Kelowna, British Columbia and Cameron (Daphne) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and his sisters, Elaine and Joy (Jake), both of Kelowna.
