1947 ~ Harry Hopkins ~ 2024 "Harry was a kind, compassionate man that would help anybody he could."

Harry Hopkins was born in Wells, British Columbia to Roy and Jean Hopkins on November 2, 1947. Harry worked for Fording Coal in Eklford B.C as a certified warehouse personnel for most of his working career. He lived in many places throughout B.C., but majority of his life was in Elkford British Columbia. Harry and Betty moved to Didsbury, Alberta for medical reasons and to be closer to Betty’s family for support. Harry started to decline where he was needing more assistance, therefore he moved into the Didsbury Bethany Care where he resided until his passing. Harry was a kind, compassionate man that would help anybody he could. He is survived by his companion Betty Hastings; sister Phyllis (Jim) Marx from Stewart, B.C; brother Jim (Jesse) Hopkins from Kitimat, B.C. numerous nieces, nephews and all that touched his life. Harry is predeceased by his mother and father Roy and Jean Hopkins and older brother Donnie.
