Mrs. Colleen Evelyn Grymaloski of Innisfail, Alberta passed away at home, with her family by her side, as the lake outside her front window was still as glass. There, she peacefully met her Jesus on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Colleen Evelyn was born the youngest of five children to Harold and Mildred English on April 8, 1947. She just celebrated her 75th birthday. Colleen spent her days outside with the animals at the farm, where she grew up, northwest of Regina. School years included grades one through eight at the Wascana Country School; riding a horse “up hill both ways in the snow”, and then on to the City of Regina for High School, followed by a year at the Hepburn Bible School. The relationship with the love of her life, Orville, budded in February 1962 and bloomed to span over sixty years together. They were married September 10, 1966. Their family grew to include her son, Timothy (Richelle) Grymaloski; her three daughters; Rachelle (Kevin) Sawatsky, Rebecca (Calvin) Peters and Gerri-Lou (Jeffrey) Wilson; her eleven grandchildren, Braydon (Kayla), Darion, Andrew, JilliAnn (Zack), Jantz, Klay, Josie (Christopher), Coleton (Shae), Bailey, Devon, and Hannah; and her three great grandchildren, Bentley, Noah, Axel and surely more to come. In the nearly fifty- six years they were married, she supported her husband, children and grandchildren in everything they did. From Regina to Lumsden, then being drawn to Alberta, their love story extended to Red Deer, Lacombe, Spruce Grove, and finally, Innisfail. At age eight, Colleen dedicated her life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Everyone who knew her, were impacted by the depth of her commitment to her faith, which she was always ready to share about. Her desire was that everyone, would come to know her Jesus. There was nowhere that she went that she did not leave people knowing they were loved. Go Oilers Go!
