Carol Fay Braconnier was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend who left this world suddenly in Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, July 31, 2023 at the age of 76 years. She was born in Didsbury and settled in Red Deer after getting married in 1967. Carol showed her caring nature through her job as a Support Worker for individuals with special needs. She also spent some time as a soup and salad Chef at Woodward’s Restaurant. Carol had a love for singing and music. She also took great joy in collecting Angels and spiritual art. She kept a big part of her heart for her three special dogs she had in her life; Mitzi, Lady and lastly, Marley, who was her best friend these past few years. Carol will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Darel (Andrea) Pallin and Kenton Pallin; her daughter, Melinda (David) Pottruff; her three brothers, Lester (Gloria) Gillrie, Russel Gillrie, and Danny (Shirley) Gillrie; her sister, Hallie (Darel) Neufeld; as well as her seven grandchildren. Carol was predeceased by her mother, Helen (Jack) Fuller; her father, Kenton Gillrie, and her sister, Linda Gillrie. A Private Interment Service will be held at a later date.
