It is with great sadness that we announce that Mrs. Heather Katchuik of Bentley, Alberta passed away on July 2, 2021 at the age of 74 years. Heather was born into a family of 9 siblings near Lomond, Saskatchewan. After her father, Albert Shain, died in 1961 she moved to Regina where she met Larry Katchuik and the two were married in 1963. Heather and Larry had two children, Rick Katchuik of Sylvan Lake, Alberta and Lenni Phillips of Red Deer, Alberta. Heather and Larry settled in Pritchard, B.C until Larry’s passing in 2012. Heather relocated to Bentley, Alberta in 2013 to be close to family and to enjoy her grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends, including seven grandchildren and great grandchildren. Heather is predeceased by her parents and seven siblings.
