Mr. Kenneth Charles Fraser passed away peacefully, at his home in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at the age of 76 years. He was born on October 9, 1946, in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Ken worked in the Oilfield, and Water Well Industries, where he eventually worked hard to own a successful Water Well and Gas Drilling Company. Ken’s passion was sports and the outdoors, where he enjoyed fastball, curling, snowmobiling, hunting, quadding, drag racing, riverboating and fishing. He also enjoyed camping and welcoming family and friends to outdoor cookouts and get togethers. He was mechanically gifted and enjoyed fixing automobiles and equipment. He will be forever remembered by his loving wife, of 56 years, Judy; his daughter, Brenda, and spouse Eppo Eerkes; and his son, Craig Fraser. He will be deeply missed by his five grandchildren, Keese, Tala & Denai Eerkes; as well as Sadie and Presley Fraser. Ken will also be lovingly rememebered by his sister, Barb Huehn of Innisfail; his brother Wayne Fraser, of Camrose, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ken was predeceased by his brothers, Calvin and Jack Fraser, and his sister, Gladys Ekroth. As per Ken’s request, no services will be held.
