1946 – 2025

It is with heavy, but thankful hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Mr. Ernest ‘Lennie’ Geddes, beloved dad and grumpa, of Red Deer, Alberta, on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the age of 78 years. Lennie was a Water Treatment operator, landscaper, and purveyor of chuckwagon racing in Central Alberta. He was an avid Calgary Flames fan and a Saskatchewan farm boy who stayed in Red Deer not because he loved it, but because he loved his family. He was equally loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. As per his wishes, his family would like to encourage all who knew and loved Lennie to raise a double-double in remembrance and celebrate his life in the way that is most meaningful to them.
