1946 ~ Mr. Dwight Ernest Pike ~ 2021 "Dwight was proud of each of his children and their families".

Mr. Dwight Ernest Pike of Bentley, Alberta passed away at the Bentley Care Centre on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the age of 75 years. Dwight was born on January 18, 1946 at Bentley, Alberta, to Orion and Margaret Pike. Dwight and his twin, Doug were the first set of twins born to Orion and Margaret; he was the seventh child of ten children. Dwight attended Oxford School and was proud to say he had Grade Twelve because he completed Grade Six twice. Dwight worked for local farmers as a young man. As a teenager, he moved to Rocky Mountain House and worked in Oilfield Maintenance. He worked several years for Braidnor earning several Service Awards. In 1989, Dwight changed careers and pipelined for DRT out of Rimbey, Alberta. He continued to pipeline for various companies, up until his retirement. His favourite companion was his dog, Misty. Dwight was proud of each of his children and their families. Dwight will be lovingly remembered by his three sons, Orion and his wife, Kathy Pike and their children, Luke, Jake and Ava of Bentley, Alberta; Earl Pike and his wife, Janette Van Rumpt and their children, Cole, Elyssa, Mark and Kaylee of Red Deer, Alberta and Lenard and his wife, Jennifer Pikeand their children, Isaicc, Mackenzie and Nataleigh of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta; his daughters, Colleen Elliot and her children, Hannah, Ethan and Brandy of Airdrie, Alberta and Carla and her husband, Danny Law and their children, Connor and Vincentof Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Doreen Neumeier and Donna Gittins, both of Bentley, Diane Hansen of Rimbey and Darlene Metro of Bentley; as well as his nieces, Brenda Gittins, Tammy Metro, Kathy Gittins, and his nephew, Phil Gittins and his wife, Terri Lyn. Dwight was predeceased by his parents, and his brothers, Dennis, Donnie, David, Doug and Dwaine. A Private Family Graveside Service was held.
