BENOIT, Carolyn
1945 – 2025
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Ms. Carolyn Bernice Benoit of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the age of 79 years. Carolyn was born in Ottawa, Ontario. She spent her final days at Bethany CollegeSide, Red Deer, Alberta, after a brave battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She had a deep love for her many cats, who brought her comfort and companionship over the years. Carolyn also had a passion for music and dancing; music was a constant source of happiness for her, whether she was enjoying it alone or sharing it with others, and her love for dancing never faded, even in her later years. Carolyn will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Gilles Benoit and Paul Benoit (Susan Miholics), her grandson, Jeremy Benoit, and her sister, Shirley Dacy. Rest in peace, Carolyn, and may your memory live on in the hearts of those who loved you. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com
