Mr. Arthur Solberg of Innisfail, Alberta passed away at the Rosefield Care Centre on September 16, 2026 at the age of 81 years.

Art was born in Victoria, British Columbia and raised in Bentley, Nordegg and the Red Deer area.

Art had a lifelong career driving truck, hauling everything from oil, grain, butane, gravel, carcass’s and asphalt.

He met the love of his life Christine Stark in 1964, and were married in Invermere, British Columbia on April 2, 1966. They had a daughter, Teresa on August 1, 1967 followed by a son, Darcy on September 12, 1969.

Art loved camping, dirt bikes, travelling and spending time with his family. Art lost the love of his life, Christine on June 12, 2016 and life was never the same for Art. They are together again.

Art is lovingly remembered by his son, Darcy Solberg of Red Deer, Alberta and his daughter Teresa Solberg of Red Deer, Alberta and his five grandchildren: Jessica (Cody) Atkinson, Kyle Howard, Clay Howard, Amber Solberg, and Makayla Solberg as well as two great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters, Shirley Anderson of Penhold, Alberta and Karen (Ross) Westman of Biggar, Saskatchewan and his brother Henry Solberg of Penhold. Art is predeceased by his wife, Christine, his sister Phyllis Jensen, his parents, Arthur and Leona Solberg and his grandson, Jamie Deck and his brother-in-law, Gerald Anderson.
