1945 – 2025

George Skatrud of Innisfail, Alberta passed away at Innisfail on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at the age of 80 years. George was born at Tuberose, Saskatchewan and he was raised in White Bear, Saskatchewan. He also lived in Regina and Swift Current but retired to Innisfail in 2012. George had a career in banking at Credit Unions as well as farming on the family farm up until he moved to Innisfail. George enjoyed camping and curling, he also loved cheering on his kids during their sports. He loved his wife, kids, and grandchildren dearly. In his retirement, golf became his passion, and he was very proud that he was the only family member to get a hole in one! George will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy Skatrud, his son, Kent (Becky) Skatrud, his daughter, Leslie (Dean) Ramsell, his grandchildren, Joey Ramsell and Mackenzie Ramsell, and his sister, Elsie (Ed) Bowditch. He was predeceased by his parents Einar and Mabel Skatrud, and his son, Jarrett Skatrud. A Private Family Interment will be held at a later date.
