1945 ~ Dr. Judy Gonda ~ 2025 "Judy’s greatest joy came from her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dr. Judy Gonda
1945 ~ 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dr. Judy Gonda, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 80 years.
Judy dedicated her life to helping others and found her calling as a Doctor of Chiropractic. She also devoted countless hours to non-profit organizations, always giving her time and talents to those in need.
Judy’s greatest joy came from her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was endlessly proud of each of them and never missed a chance to ask how they were doing. She had a special tradition of giving socks and crocheted blankets to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren—small gestures filled with love.
At Christmas, Judy was famous for her caramel corn, which she made and shared with everyone. She also loved creating handmade items for donation—from washcloths and Christmas decorations to slippers, blankets, and mittens—always crafting with care and generosity.
Judy is survived by her three children: Jannis, Greg (Koyle), and Lisa (Jeff); her grandchildren Baillie, Becky, Chantel, Matt, and Jared; and her great-grandchildren Phillip, Declan, Beau, Kolby, Jayden, Luke, Waylon, Wyatt, and Zachary. She is also survived by her siblings Bob (Nora), Bernie (Rick), and Yvette, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Lillian; her sisters Megan, Sharon (Roy), Ann, and Laura (Ed); and her brothers John and Harry.
Judy was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She will be laid to rest in Halkirk, Alberta. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com
