Mrs. Lynne Dallas Mah of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully, with her daughter and her husband by her side, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the age of 80 years. Lynne was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 9, 1944. Lynne married Richard Mah while living in Calgary, Alberta. From there, they went to Toronto, Ontario for three years. Afterwards, they moved to Winnipeg for three years where they adopted their son, Dean in 1972. Lynne and her family returned West to Banff, Alberta, where she worked as a waitress for her sister’s restaurant. After some time, Lynne and Richard moved to Red Deer and she worked at Sylvesters Publications, and then as a secretary. Lynne’s most recent job was managing an apartment complex. When Lynne and Richard were in Red Deer, in 1979, they adopted their daughter, Tina. Lynne was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis several years ago. She loved fishing, camping, gardening and karaoke. Lynne also adored her cats and attended many cat shows. She even had her own award-winning cats, and also loved her dogs. Lynne greatly enjoyed her time with family and friends and loved her daughter, Tina’s singing. Lynne will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard Douglas Mah, her son, Dean (Robin) Mah and their daughter, Jennifer Mah of Calgary Alberta, and her daughter, Tina (Tasha) Mah and their children, Dakota, Emma and Nevaeh of Red Deer, Alberta. Lynne will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Pam (Gus) of Victoria, British Columbia, Andy (Fred) of Calgary, Alberta, Judy (Ross) of British Columbia, and Leslie of Vancouver, British Columbia.
