Mr. Ronald ‘Ron’ Edward Bailey passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Friday, February 28, 2025 at the age of 80 years. Ron was born on August 22, 1944 at Natal, British Columbia to Ralph and Marie Bailey, the eldest of four children. He received his early education in British Columbia and Alberta. As a young man, he became a welder and worked in the Oilfield, where he gained the experience to become an Oilfield Consultant, which he continued with until his retirement. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda; his son, Dale (Lisa) Bailey of Rosewood Beach, Alberta; and his grandchildren, Dylan (Jessica), Sheila (James), Kayla, Shawn, Derek (Taylor), Morgan (Justin) and Chris. He will also be sadly missed by his brother, William (Margaret) Bailey of Drayton Valley, Alberta and his sister, Sharon (Duane) Patterson of Edmonton, Alberta. Ron was predeceased by his son, Dennis, his brother, Lee, and his parents, Ralph and Marie (nee Brix). A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
