With profound sorrow, we share the passing of Ms. Patricia ‘Pat’ Sales following a courageous journey with Alzheimer’s on Monday, April 14, 2025 at the age of 81 years. Born on November 13, 1943, Pat was a beacon of strength, compassion, and unwavering love.

Pat’s life was defined by warmth, joy, and resilience. As a single mother, she achieved a Degree in Psychology – an inspiring testament to her determination and perseverance. But her most treasured role was that of a devoted mother and grandmother. Her nurturing spirit and quiet strength continue to shape the lives of her family, leaving a legacy that will endure for generations.

Her interests were as diverse as they were heartfelt – she found delight in the pages of a good book, country music, the challenge of a new tech gadget, and above all, the precious time spent with her family. The mountains, her cherished retreat, brought her deep peace and joy.

Though her absence leaves a deep void, the memory of her radiant smile and gentle spirit will continue to guide and comfort us all.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kim Surian (Danny), her son, Todd Sales (April), her eleven cherished grandchildren, her eight adored great grandchildren, her sweet dog, Baxter, and her dear friend, Linda Houle. Pat was predeceased by her beloved parents, Mabel and Alfred Gresty, her sister, Mabel Oakes, and her brother, Marvin Gresty.

A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held in Chatham, Ontario and will take place at a later date.
