It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad and Papa, Mr. Patrick MacFarlane ‘Pat’ Hare in Victoria, British Columbia on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the age of 80 years. Pat was a wonderful father and grandfather to the entire family. He loved golfing, holidays with the family, farmers markets, and traveling to the Parksville British Columbia area, where he was involved in a tragic motor vehicle accident as he was helping another motorist. Pat will be sadly missed by all those that loved and knew him. Pat will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Ronald (Karen) of Calgary, David (Lisa) of Cochrane, and Robert (Kim) of Bowden; his grandsons, Ryan, Ethan, Spencer and Tyler, and his granddaughters, Brooklynn and Madison. He will also be sadly missed by his brother, Michael (Susan) Hare of Calgary. Pat was predeceased by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Valerie Lynne (nee Langel).
