Mr. Marvin Arnold Schmuland of Innisfail, Alberta passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Donna by his side on June 2, 2024 at the age of 80 years. Marvin was born by Selma and Arnold Schmuland and raised at Wetaskiwin. Marvin started Rocky View Cement in High River, Alberta where he met his beloved wife, Donna and they were married in 1987 and were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Crystal Dawn. They moved to Peachland and started selling Whirley gigs for three years. He then moved his small family to Innisfail and resided in the area until his passing. Marvin was an avid businessman and entrepreneur who created many businesses with his wife by his side. They first opened a restaurant called Lunch Time as well as had Marv’s Concrete, built Innisfail Boarding Kennals and then South End Storage. He paved the way for many to follow in his footsteps. Marvin loved his home and working in his beautiful yard, food, fishing, camping, animals and working for many years along side his wife. Marvin was a good man and gave to his community and others. Marvin will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Donna, his daughter, Crystal Dawn and stepdaughter, Tina. He will be missed by his loving family and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Selma and Arnold. A Celebration of Marvin’s life will be held at the Heartland Funeral Services Chapel, in Innisfail, Alberta on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with a Graveside Service to follow in the Innisfail Cemetery.
