Mr. Lloyd Arthur Remus of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the age of 78 years. Lloyd was born in Russell, Manitoba to Art and Margaret Remus. He grew up on a farm near Langenberg, Saskatchewan, and later moved to Gerald, Saskatchewan. He worked most of his life in the Oilfield, but also owned a Logging Truck for a time. Lloyd lived in Whitecourt, Alberta for twenty-five years; and he also lived in Olds for twenty years. Lloyd loved spending time with his grandchildren, and he also enjoyed golfing, swimming, and a good game of Backgammon. Lloyd will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Donna; his three daughters, Lynn (Aaron) Didrickson, Sheryl (Sheldon) Burns and Janet Remus; his seven grandchildren, Tyler, Joel, Amelia, Krista, Jeremy, Camden and Elijah. Lloyd will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Lorna (Eric) Mead, Helen (Alan) Neumeier, Merle Menzies and Joyce (Casey) Bowers. Lloyd was predeceased by a sister, Margery Barnard. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held.
