Mr. Bruce Albert Kissinger of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the age of 81 years. Bruce was born on August 13, 1943, in Smithers, British Columbia. Bruce grew up in Walcott and Saanichton. In 1961, he joined the Royal Canadian Navy, training as a Sonar Operator. After his Naval Service, he became a heavy-duty mechanic and dedicated over fifty years to the trade. His love for automobiles led him to actively participate in various car clubs, where he enjoyed sharing his passion with fellow enthusiasts. Bruce and his family also moved to Melita, Manitoba, in 2002, where he both lived and worked. While residing there, he was highly engaged with Elim Chapel. Bruce was deeply devoted to his faith and his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Christine Kissinger, and his children, his son, Steven Kissinger of Red Deer and his daughters, Marnie (Grant) Davison and Tanya (Steve) Wellburn, both of Victoria, and Leila (Byron) Skidmore of Red Deer, and his ten grandchildren.
