Mrs. Nelsie Marie Brownlee, formerly of Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully at the home of her sister, Linda and Dave Booth at Penhold, Alberta on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the age of 78 years. Nelsie and her husband, Norman lived at Campbell River, British Columbia, where they operated a motel. Later, together they drove truck stateside and delivered recreational vehicles to Canada, including the Yukon. In 2014, they retired to LeStock, Saskatchewan, and then moved to Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan. Nelsie was very active at the Senior Centre, as Secretary Treasurer for the Lodge. Nelsie will be lovingly remembered by her daughters and her sons, Cora Brownlee of Bowden, Debbie of Campbell River, British Columbia, Mel Brownlee of Red Deer, Pat Brownlee of British Columbia; her nine grandchildren, her five brothers and her four sisters. Nelsie was predeceased by her husband, Norman on October 15, 2016. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
