It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Mrs. Roberta M. Harder, on Friday, October 16, 2020, at Innisfail, Alberta. Roberta was born in Calgary, Alberta to Ann and Alex Walker. She married her lifelong best friend Glen Harder, on November 4, 1958, in Caroline, Alberta. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and love. She had a great love of animals, from raising miniature horses, to raising and breeding Great Pyrenees dogs. Roberta had a huge heart and a great love for family. Her door was always open and she made company feel welcome always. Roberta lived in Caroline, Alberta, and then moved to Revelstoke, British Columbia. They later on moved back to the Caroline area and then to Innisfail, where they operated a taxi business for many years. Family was everything to Roberta. She also had a great love for music. Jam sessions with friends in their homes were a common gathering. She enjoyed camping, family reunions, and gardening. She always took great pride in keeping her yard and flower garden in pristine shape. Roberta is survived by her husband Glen, of nearly 63 years. her faithful dog, ‘Gus’, her four sons, Bob (Jackie), Roy (Suzy), Tim (Cindy), Wade (Manon), her daughter, Jazz, her sister Diane, her brother, John (Wendy), her brother-in-law, John (Margaret), and her sister-in-law, Nina. She was oh so proud of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Rebecca (Chris), Zachary, Kurtis; Savanna (Rod), Deklan; Darla (Kevin), Bailey, Emily, Jakob; Cody (Kayla), Braxton; Allyssa (Mike), Athen, Kayto; Sheena (Chris), Damian, Alexis; Jessica (Mitch), Cohen, and numerous nieces and nephews as well. Roberta was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Ann Walker, her sister, Patricia Robidoux, an infant son, Ricki, and her brothers-in-law, Earl, Richard and Joe. Our hearts are saddened, but knowing she is at peace with her parents, sister, and heavenly father gives her family comfort.
