Mrs. Louise Marie Deacon of Lacombe, Alberta, passed away peacefully, at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre, Lacombe, on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the age of 79 years. Louise was born on December 9, 1941 at Rimbey, Alberta. She was the third daughter born to George and Christine Kamlah. Louise met Harry Deacon, while working at Swain’s Esso in Lacombe, They were married on April 9, 1960; and together, they raised six children, while living in Rimbey and Lacombe. During this time, Louise worked at the Long Term Care Unit in Lacombe. The couple later settled on an acreage near Brownfield, Alberta and lived there until Harry’s passing. While living there, Louise worked at the Castor Hospital. Now on her own, Louise lived in Bentley, Rimbey, Red Deer and lastly moved into the Long Term Care Unit at the Lacombe Hospital, until her passing. Louise enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved attending graduations, weddings and celebrating birthdays with her family; as well as keeping in touch with her many close friends. Louise will be lovingly remembered by her son, Allen (Reneé) Deacon and her grandson, Corey (Liz) Deacon and her granddaughter, Carly (Korey) Burne; her daughter, Colleen (Darren) Brown and her granddaughter, Amanda Brown and her children, Kaiden, Tristan and Jaxon, her grandson, Adam (Anne-Marie) Brown and son, Luka; her daughter, Lenora Connell and her grandsons, Kurt Connell and Brandon Connell and his child, Aria; her daughter, Shelley Hoffart and her grandsons, Alex Hoffart, Trevor (Tieghan) Hoffart and Richard Hoffart and his children, Amara and Layla, and her granddaughter, Ashley Hoffart; her son, Russell (Tammy) Deacon and her grandchildren, Cody, Elissa and Joey Deacon; and her son, Raymond Deacon and her grandsons, Austin and Dana. She will also be sadly missed by her two sisters, Millie Masson of Red Deer and Shirley Phillips of Edmonton, and her sister-in-law, Vay Dumouchel of Lacombe. Louise was predeceased by her husband, Harry, her parents, George and Christine, a sister, Eileen, a brother-in-law, Neil, her parents-in-law, George and Dorothy, a nephew, Gordie Deacon, a niece, Diane Dugray, her brothers-in-law, Art (Judy) Deacon, Archie (Marg) Deacon and Tom Dumouchel and her sisters-in-law, Stella (Basil) Thayer, Ruby (Walter) Laye, Ruth (Ernie) Cunningham, Dorothy (Collie) MacDonnell and Margaret (Jack) Mayner. A Private Graveside Service will be held at the Fairview Cemetery, Lacombe, Alberta.
