It is with deep sorrow, the family of Mrs. Joyce Justine Thate announce her passing at Innisfail, Alberta, on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the age of 81 years. Joyce was born at Fawcett Lake, Alberta on January 11, 1941. She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her family;  her son, Ken Thate (Gayle Laskosky) of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, her daughter, Lorna (Jim) Beck of Foreman, Arkansas, her daughter, Lynnette (Robert) McCoubrey of Brampton, Ontario, her daughter, Lanis (Mark) Hembree of Wichita, Kansas, family friend, Charles (Donnette) Morrow of Markham, Ontario, her grandchildren, Lacey Psybyla of Edmonton, Alberta, Jenna (Dustin) Falsetta of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Ken Beck (Leah Beall) of Foreman, Arkansas, Kimberlyn (Haze) Zeigler of Ashdown, Arkansas, Elisha Thate (Jeff Marchand) of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Reece and Grace Hembree of Wichita, Kansas, and Everleigh McCoubrey of Brampton, Ontario; and she will also be deeply missed by her great grandchildren, Axl and Halo Psybyla of Edmonton, Alberta, Kaselyn, Ville and Raelyn Zeigler of Ashdown, Arkansas, Nixon, Lincoln, Hudson and Jake Marchand of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Isabella Falsetta of Rocky Mountain House, Ryker Thate of Kelowna, British Columbia, Titan and Thor Falsetta of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lawrence in 2016, to whom she was married to for fifty-seven years, her father, Patrick Arnault, her mother, Margaret Arnault, her sisters, Martha Arnault, Mabel Arnault and Rose Bjornson, a brother, Sonny Arnault, a grandson, Blair Thate and her great grandchildren, Heaven and Parker Psybyla.. A Private Celebration of Joyce’s Life will take place at her son, Ken’s Ranch.
