Mrs. Joy Trottier passed away peacefully, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the age of 80 years. Joy was born in Fort Macleod, Alberta on June 3, 1941, one of ten Siblings. She married her husband of sixty years, Edward Trottier; and together, they raised two sons and a daughter. She traveled the world and settled in Sylvan Lake, Alberta for the last twenty-seven years. Joy loved to garden and tend her flowers. Her biggest attribute was making you feel welcome; she took special interest in getting to know you. Her memory was impeccable; Joy always remembered birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. She also loved to bake; her specialty was apple pies, and also making blankets. Joy was all about family and the love she shared. Joy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Edward; her sons, Dariel (Sandy) and Mark (Tabatha); her daughter, Sandra; her five grandchildren and her two great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her four brothers and her five sisters. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
