Marilyn Jeanine Miller passed away at the Innisfail Health Care Centre on April 29, 2025 at the age of 84 years. Marilyn was born to Roy and Alice Miller and raised in the Craig – Markerville area. She spent most of her life on the family farm, where she had a deep love for animals and the quiet life of the countryside. Marilyn was happiest when she was gardening, baking, sewing, quilting, painting and making beautiful music with her accordion and her guitar. She devoted her life to caregiving—supporting her parents through their elder years and nurturing any children who were nearby.
Marilyn is lovingly remembered by her nephew, Erin (Sherry) Miller of Innisfail, her niece Tammy (Glen) Morin of Athabasca, her nephew, Kelly Miller of St. Paul, her niece, Violet (Bill) Canning and her nephew, Doug (Kathy) James and her nephew, Larry James, as well as her sisters-in-law, Vivian Miller of Athabasca and Ilene Miller of Rocky Mountain House. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Alice, and her brothers, Warren and Wendell.
