With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Georgette Vivian Shave, a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her. Georgette’s journey came to a peaceful close at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the venerable age of 83 years. Georgette’s memory is a treasure held dear by her six children, Barbara Shave, Daniel Shave, Judy Cote, Caroline Shave, Susanne Pye (David Pye), and Joan (Darrell) Selent. Her love and lessons are her lasting legacy, living on through her nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, who will continue to walk in the warmth of her wisdom. Her sisters, Elizabeth and Cecile, will deeply miss Georgette’s enduring presence and the gentle strength she embodied. Her spirit, a blend of compassion and grace, will be forever etched in our hearts and memories. Relatives and friends are invited to come and pay their respects one hour prior to the Funeral Mass.
