It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dellis Gordon Leaver on January 16, 2025 at the age of 83. He was born on July 14, 1941 in Toronto, Ontario to Gordon and Helen Leaver. On November 20, 1971, he married Dickie Van Holland and they had daughter Shirley and son Rod. He was a journeyman insulator by trade and belonged to the Local 110 Heat and Frost Insulators Union. He also spent time as a driver for Del’s Vacuum. He loved being a farmer and going out west for long rides on his quad. He is survived by Dickie, Shirley, Rod(Nicole), sister Betty, brother Maurice, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. A memorial service was held at the Zion Evangelical Missionary Church, Highway 582 and 20th Avenue, Didsbury, Alberta on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Association of Alberta.
