Pauline Elizabeth Pichette of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Innisfail Health Centre, Innisfail, Alberta on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the age of 84 years. Pauline was born in Bluesky, Alberta on February 1, 1940 to Theodor and Maria Lermen. She lived in Fairview, Alberta until her marriage to Germain ‘Jim’ Pichette on April 20, 1960, after which they relocated to Grimshaw, Alberta. Pauline and Jim were married for fifty years and had two daughters, Karen and Michelle. Pauline lived with her loving husband, Jim in Grimshaw for over forty years. Once retired, they wintered in Needles, California for many years. Pauline loved entertaining friends and family, playing cards, knitting and going to the casino. The casino was her happy place. Pauline will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Karen (Cam) Fehr of Seba Beach, Alberta and Michelle (Neil Schmeichel) Thomas of Brooks, Alberta, her five grandchildren and her six great grandchildren. Pauline will also be sadly missed by her brother, John (Louise) Lermen of Edmonton, Alberta, her sisters, Matilda (Bill) Halisky of Edmonton, Alberta, Rose Tollefson of Valleyview, Alberta, Mary (Henry) Eliuk of Stettler, Alberta, Gussy (Les Rasmussen) Winnichuk of Drumheller, Alberta, Elsie (Bill) Horn of Red Deer, Alberta, Margaret (Doug) MacMillan of Red Deer, Alberta and Linda Buyar of Grande Prairie, Alberta. Pauline was predeceased by her loving husband of fifty years, Germain ‘Jim’ Pichette, her parents, Theodor and Maria Lermen, her brother, Eddy Lermen, her sister, Annie Ayotte, her son-in-law, Peter Thomas, and her brothers-in-law, Ken Tollefson and Kelly Buyar.
