Mr. Edward Grayson Harrison, a retired carpenter and loving father, passed away in Red Deer, Alberta, on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the age of 82 years. He leaves behind a remarkable legacy filled with love, compassion, and selflessness. Edward was born on September 16, 1940 in Red Willow, Alberta. He began his career in Natural Gas Servicing, and then honed his skills and craftsmanship over the years, becoming a respected and skilled carpenter. Ed was known for his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to turn raw materials into works of art. He took great pride in his work, leaving a lasting impression on all those who witnessed his creations. Ed settled into a final role as a Facilities Manager at the Central Alberta Humane Society before retiring. Ed’s love for his family knew no bounds. As a father, he provided unwavering support, guidance, and endless love to Kimberley and Patrick. His presence was a source of strength, and his wisdom and kindness were ever-present in their lives. Ed’s memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, kindness, and generous spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed by his children, Kimberley Ade of Calgary, Alberta, and Patrick Harrison of Alexandria, Virginia. Ed is also survived by his cherished grandson, Hayden Harrison, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life. Ed was predeceased by his beloved wife of fifty-five years, Laura Harrison, with whom he shared a lifetime of joy and memories. Rest in peace, dear Ed.
