Marjorie Joyce Jaster of Leduc, Alberta passed away at her sister Janice’s home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at the age of 81 years. Marjorie was born to Gustave Jaster and Alvina (Neitz) Jaster on December 16, 1940, in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. After High School, she trained to be a nurse in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She worked as a nurse for thirty-three years in Stettler, Athabasca, and Red Deer. Along with nursing, she settled on a farm in Leduc, Alberta and raised Simmental Cattle. She enjoyed many activities such as golfing, curling, dancing, card playing, quadding and snowmobiling. Marjorie was an inspiration to all her family and friends. Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Janice, her niece, Sherry Mitchell, her nephews, Greg Hill and Doug Hill, along with their children, who will all remember her helping hands. A Celebration of Marjorie’s Life will be held for family and friends at a later date. Memorial Donations in Marjorie’s honor may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society at www.cancer.ca.
