It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Donna Louise Radomske-Calvert of Red Deer, Alberta, whose daily presence will be sorely missed, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the age of 81 years. Donna lived a full life, enjoying family, gardening and spending hours sewing Barbie clothes for the girls. She grew beautiful flowers, including sweet peas and the best tasting tomatoes. She definitely had a Green Thumb. Having worked in a Flower Shop, while attending school in Calgary, she had a deft hand in arranging her cut flowers. Donna grew up on the family farm in Knee Hill Valley; attending Pleasant Valley for Grade School, Junior High School at Western Canada Junior High in Calgary, and High School at LTCHS in Red Deer. Donna married her High School sweetheart, Dennis in 1957. Donna will be lovingly remembered by her dear husband of sixty-four years, Dennis; her daughters, Denise (Wayne) Stutt and Deanna (Rick Sonnenberg) Grauman; her son, John (Linda) Calvert; her seven grandchildren and her sixteen great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her sister, Carol Severtson, her brothers, Doug (Chris) Radomske and Danny (Tatiana) Radomske and her sister-in-law, Sheila Brinton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Donna was predeceased by her mother, Edith; her father, John; her stepmother, Elsa, a sister, Merlie (Harold Hawkins); a brother-in-law, Ken Severtson, and a nephew, John Hawkins. No Funeral Service will be held.
