With peace, love and joy Mr. Gerald ‘Jerry’ Kelly Schulhauser passed away at Harmony Care Homes, Red Deer, Alberta on his final journey to meet his heavenly family on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the age of 84 years. Jerry was born at Trail, British Columbia on January 21, 1939 to Theodore and Elizabeth Schulhauser. Jerry’s family moved back to Saskatchewan when he was six months old. He went to Dysart School and graduated in 1957. Jerry joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in November of 1957. He served in Saskatchewan and at the R.C.M.P Head Quarters in Ottawa, Ontario. He married Bernice Czemeres on September 24, 1960 and together they raised five children. Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Bernice Schulhauser, his children, Laura (Dan Malo), Lyle (Tanya Doerksen), Larry and his daughters, Baylee Rae and Madison Tieghan, and Lana (Brad Harding). Jerry was a grandfather to five boys and four girls, and he was a great grandfather to nine boys and one great granddaughter. Jerry was predeceased by his Heavenly Family; his son, Lance, his parents, Theodore and Elizabeth, his sister, Mary Jo (Floyd Pouirer), his in-laws, Edward and Edith Czemeres, his brother-in-law, Rudolph Czemeres, along with numerous aunts and uncles. He leaves to mourn each person whose life he touched. Interment at the R.C.M.P Depot Division Cemetery Columbarium in Regina, Saskatchewan will take place at a later date. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
