Eileen Gail Grimson
October 17, 1939 – April 18, 2022
Gail was the eldest of three children, born to Fred and Doris Grimson of the Burnt Lake rural community. Gail lived most of her life on the “farm” until she moved into Sylvan Lake after Doris’ passing. Following declining health issues in July of 2021, she moved from the Rimbey Hospital to its Long-Term Health Care Centre. Predeceased by her parents, Fred and Doris and brother, Ray, she is survived by her sister; Marilynne, two nephews, four great nephews and nieces, and numerous cousins. Gail will be interred near her parents, in the Sylvan Lake Cemetery. In accordance with her wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Instead, a private family tribute will occur. If desired, Memorial Donations in Gail’s honor may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta at www.alzheimer.ca.
