Mrs. Lillian ‘Caroline’ Hall passed away, on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the age of 86 years. Today we send our love to Caroline Hall. She was born on September 27, 1937 in Windsor, Ontario and raised in Sonningdale, Saskatchewan. Caroline grew to have many talents and interests. She always had a pen in hand and a doodle on the go. Her artistic soul fostered this creative side, making her passionate about oil paintings, photography, sketches, and many other crafts and hobbies. Her life was full, carrying her to many different provinces across Canada, where she built a beautiful family along the way. Her sons, Terry Foulkes, James Becker, and her daughter, Cindy White, brought her comfort and joy on her journey. She taught them that hugs are the best way to say “hello” and “Goodbye”, butter belongs on everything, (she was a wonderful cook and baker), tea can be made in a coffee pot and singing and dancing are an incredibly important part of every day, no matter where you are, or what you are doing. Later in life, Caroline was delighted to find her brothers, Gary Putt and John Putt. These new relatives brought her much delight in the coming years. Caroline loved helping others, and fondly spent time volunteering. Her charisma and her imagination were always wandering. She enjoyed reading many novels at a time, as well as getting lost in the world of Star Trek, or video games. Her children brought her numerous grandbabies, great grandbabies and even great great grandbabies. Caroline gave them so much happiness, sharing with them her love of cats. There was always a Gizmo, Shata, or ShataFlossy to drag out from under the couch to play with. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a playful nature. Visiting her place meant eating Werther’s candy from a fancy dish and playing dice, cards, or Yahtzee while sipping tea from a cat mug. To this day, just the memory of Caroline’s sweet disposition and smile spreads joy to others and leaves her mark within this world. She will be forever loved, missed and always remembered. A Private Family Celebration of Caroline’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, Memorial Donations in Caroline’s honor may be made directly to the Central Alberta Humane Society at www.cahumane.com.
