Mr. Patrick ‘Pat’ Albert Todd passed away at his home, on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the age of 88 years. Pat was born on July 7, 1936 at Biggar, Saskatchewan, to Robert and Margaret Todd. Pat became an Accountant after completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Alberta. He also worked for the Alberta Government, as a Driver’s Examiner. He further worked for the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires (Red Deer) for several years, and was passionate about his role, until his retirement. Pat was an active member of the Salvation Army Church and Community Ministries in Red Deer. It was there that he met his wife, Thelma. Pat and Thelma were married on December 26, 1994, and were practically in separable throughout their lives. Pat was an avid fan of the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. You could always count on Pat to call after a Riders game and go over the plays. He enjoyed going for long walks and a good sit-down meal at a buffet. Pat will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Rhoda Linggard of Surrey, British Columbia; his stepchildren, Cindy (John) Ireland of Red Deer, Alberta, John (Diane) Barich of Crossfield, Alberta, Randy (Pat) Barich of Millet, Alberta, Dan (Lucie) Barich of London, Ontario, and Tim Barich of Drayton Valley, Alberta; his ten step grandchildren; and his seventeen step great grandchildren; as well as numerous family members and dear friends. Pat was predeceased by his wife, Thelma (2018); his parents, Robert and Margaret; his brothers, Eric, Henry, and Ernie; and his sisters, Neva and Alberta, who he will meet again in Heaven.
