It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Mrs. Kathleen Joyce Walker of Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the age of 85 years. Kathleen was born on August 23, 1936 in Bear Lake, Alberta. She was the first born of five children to George and Anne Billey. Kathleen was a loving, thoughtful, compassionate, kind and generous woman who lived her life devoted to her Saviour Jesus Christ. Her dedication to the Lord touched many lives. Kathleen was especially loved by all of her immediate family, extended family and church family and will be greatly missed by all. Kathleen will be lovingly remembered by her adoring husband of sixty-five years, James; her daughters, Celeste and Tracy (Darren); her four sons, Vance (Suzanne), Darren, Kim and Troy (Paula); her sixteen grandchildren; and her thirteen great grandchildren that she was so blessed with. She will also be sadly missed by her two sisters, Addlin (Ray) Rogers of Calgary, Alberta and Irene Billey of Edmonton, Alberta; as well as numerous family members and dear friends. Kathleen was predeceased by an infant son, Kipp; her father, George Billey; her mother, Anne Billey; a sister, Tilly (John) Rawluk; a brother, Daniel (Denny) Billey and a sister-in-law, Joyce Andres.
