Elisabeth Hildegard Landgrebe was born in Mannheim, Germany on October 14,1936 and passed away in Red Deer on her 89th birthday, October 14,2025. Hilde will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her son Michael (Susan) Landgrebe and her daughter Monica (Les) Leatherdale. Hilde had a special place in her heart for her four grandchildren Daniel (Kali) Leatherdale; Lisa (Adam) Baird; Matthew (Sarah) Landgrebe and Benjamin (Deanna) Landgrebe. Hilde was also blessed with six great grandchildren, Hudson Otto Baird; Lennon Elisabeth Baird; Oaklann Marie Leatherdale; Palmer Eleanor Leatherdale; Otto Douglas Landgrebe and Wayne Michael Landgrebe. Mom will also be missed by her sister Hannelore Klee and extended family in Germany. Hilde was predeceased by her loving husband Otto Wilhelm Landgrebe on February 2, 2022, and her parents Georg August Kuhlwein and Maria (Winkenbach) Kuhlwein. A special thank you to the staff at Timberstone Mews for the loving care mom received.

As per Mom’s wishes the family will hold a private memorial.
