Alfred William Cadman passed away at home on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 in Olds. Alfred was born and raised in the Red Deer area. At the age of sixteen he pursued his passion for hockey with the Medicine Hat Tigers. He had several stops along the way playing hockey that ultimately led him back to Red Deer where he played and eventually owned the Red Deer Rustlers Hockey Club and won the Centennial Cup. Having a care for developing hockey, he founded the Sylvan Lake Hockey School that still exists today. Throughout most of his life Alfred was heavily involved in real estate where he had a keen eye for land in the path of growth. Alfred enjoyed his summers at Sylvan Lake, winters in Hawaii and Arizona. Alfred will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandra, his children, Linda (Kelly), Ron (Darlene), Dan (Mary), Travis (Kim) and Kelly and his many grandchildren.
