Mrs. Shirley Louise Lalor, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 years, with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Innisfail Healthcare Center. She was born May 2, 1935 in Innisfail, Alberta to Chick and Hetti Smith. Shirley married Bud Lalor on June 9, 1956 in Innisfail, Alberta. Shirley is lovingly remembered by her husband of sixty eight years, Bud; her daughters, Joanne Daines, Kathy Lalor and Diane Lalor; her grandchildren: Carmen (Rick) and her children, Kelly and Kate Hansen, Kyle (Alissa) and their children, Jet and Korbyn, Jason (Heather) Chatwood and their children, Tucker and Owen and Jaret (Grace). Shirley is predeceased by her brother, Ted Smith. A Celebration of Shirley’s life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 104, Innisfail, Alberta. on Monday, July 8 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, Memorial Donations may be made to the Innisfail Healthcare Centre.
