Clara Mathilda (Tillie) Erickson

Tillie will be missed by her friends and family. She passed on February 14, 2025, during a brief hospital visit.
Tillie was born to Jacob and Tina Muller on July 27, 1935. Following high school, she trained as a stenographer and worked in Regina, SK. She married Rev. Ernest Hahn on June 7, 1958, and welcomed two children, George and Doug, in the following years. On March 5, 1965, tragedy struck, and she became a widow for the first time. She moved her family to Edmonton and found a job working for the Department of Music at the University of Alberta.
She married again on August 2, 1969, to Don Erickson, a farmer in south-eastern Saskatchewan. Don was a kind man and helped raise her two boys. In 2002, Tillie and Don moved to Three Hills, Alberta, made new friends and contributed to the community. Don passed away in Three Hills on October 19, 2017. Soon after that, Tillie moved to Seasons Encore in Olds, Alberta where she strengthened her bonds with her friends and enjoyed her time making new friends.
Tillie is survived by her sons, George Hahn, and Douglas Hahn (Sharon), her grandchildren Diane (Lauro soon), Erich (Morgan), Julie (Eric), and Jacqueline. She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Hans (Elsie), Louise, Marie, Willie (Marie), Ernest (Susan), Ollie (Dave), and Paul.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at East Olds Baptist Church. A memorial service is being planned for May.
