Anna Maria de Montezuma passed away at the Sunset Manor, Innisfail, Alberta on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the age of 86 years. Anna was born at Vernon, British Columbia to Marjorie and Juan de Montezuma on July 22, 1935. She was a member of the Arts & Historical Societies in Dawson Creek, British Columbia and was awarded Citizen of The Year in 1997. While in Dawson Creek, Anna also belonged to Toast Masters. She was an artist and an avid golfer. Anna will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Penny Seabrook of Innisfail, Alberta, Jeannie Wasylenko of Whitehorse, Yukon and Lisa Campbell of Leduc, Alberta; as well as her nine grandchildren and her six great grandchildren. She will also be deeply missed by her brother, Rickardo de Montezuma of Langley, British Columbia and her sister, Markita Leopoky of Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Anna was predeceased by her sons, Richard Pernitzky and Alan Pernitzky. At Anna’s request, no Funeral Service will be held.
